How engagements work
- Choose a service and give your contact details and the names of any companies involved. Please don't describe your situation yet.
- Conflict check. It runs against the firm's records and against any current or recent employer identified in the firm's internal conflict register. No substantive facts are collected until it clears.
- Engagement letter and payment. A short written agreement states the scope, the fixed fee, the turnaround, when the engagement ends, and how any unearned fee is refunded.
- Documents and work. You upload the documents the service includes through a secure link. The turnaround starts when the file is complete.
Immigration consultations (Spanish or English)
| Consultation | Fee | Length | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $200 | 30 min | Oral analysis of your situation and options. No document review |
| Advanced | $350 | 45 min | Advance review of documents you select (up to 10 documents / 40 pages), a preliminary risk assessment, oral advice. No written memo |
| Upgrade Standard → Advanced | $150 | — | Same matter; counts as one Advanced consultation |
A consultation does not mean the firm will take your case, and it does not guarantee any outcome. The fee is refunded in full if the consultation does not take place, for any reason, and you may reschedule once with 24 hours' notice.
Consultation credit. 100% of the consultation fee may be credited toward the attorney fee for the firm's first written fixed-fee engagement ("Phase 1") when all of these conditions are met:
- the engagement concerns the same matter discussed in the consultation;
- the engagement agreement is signed within 30 calendar days of the consultation;
- only one consultation credit applies per matter;
- the maximum credit is $350.
The credit applies only to attorney fees. The credit has no cash or refund value, is non-transferable, and cannot be aggregated across consultations or matters. It does not apply to government filing fees, expert costs, translations, court costs, travel, third-party expenses or other costs. A Standard consultation upgraded to Advanced for the same matter (by paying the $150 difference) counts as one Advanced consultation, with a maximum credit of $350.

EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW)
Step 1 · Free anonymous self-screen. An educational questionnaire. It may flag issues to look at; it does not decide whether you qualify. You can then request an attorney review of your profile. The review is in writing, with no call, and it is conducted before any paid step is offered.
Step 2 · NIW Strategy Assessment: $950
- Attorney review of a defined file: your CV, a structured questionnaire, your proposed endeavor in your own words, an evidence inventory, and the specific supporting documents the attorney requests (up to 12 documents / 100 pages, plus up to 5 public profile links). Not unlimited document review.
- A written NIW Strategy Assessment memorandum with practical evidence-development recommendations, delivered 7 business days after your file is complete.
- A 45-minute meeting with the attorney after you receive the memo.
- Can be purchased without committing to representation.
No numerical score. No approval prediction. No guarantee. USCIS decides every petition on its own record.
Step 3 · Representation (if appropriate after the Assessment)
NIW representation. Standard NIW representation is typically a $9,500 flat attorney fee after assessment. Matters requiring materially expanded technical, entrepreneurial, evidentiary or interdisciplinary work are quoted separately after the Strategy Assessment. Government filing fees and later green-card, consular or adjustment work are separate.

Rules for every fixed-fee service
- The service covers only what is listed. No service becomes ongoing representation.
- The firm does not contact employers, opposing parties or their lawyers, except the single letter included in the Cease-and-Desist Initial Response.
- New facts, new documents, negotiation, any dispute, or any further contact after the deliverable is a new engagement, quoted in writing before any work.
- Each engagement letter states the date the engagement ends.
What is never included in an attorney fee
- Government filing fees (for example, USCIS fees and premium processing). They are paid to the agency and confirmed against the current official fee schedule when quoted.
- Translations, credential evaluations, expert fees, court costs, travel, courier and other third-party costs.
- Anything outside the written scope.
FAQ
Why a conflict check before I explain anything? California lawyers must avoid conflicts of interest. The check comes first so that nothing you share reaches a lawyer who cannot act for you.
Are these prices negotiable? No. They are the same for everyone. If your matter needs more than the stated scope, you receive a written quote before any extra work.
Can I get a refund? If the firm cannot take the matter after the conflict check, you are refunded in full. If work stops before completion, any unearned portion is refunded as stated in your engagement letter.
Do you promise a result? No. Every fixed fee buys defined legal work, not an outcome.
